Ryan Ashburn, Transportation Manager
I am the Transportation Manager with a little over 6 years of experience in Logistics. I started my career with Southern Metals Recycling in January of 2018 as a temporary worker. I was hired to run the scale and work in the warehouse. During the two years running the scale I learned dispatching, customer services and problem solving. I was offered the Transportation Manager position in January of 2020. I continue to use my previous scale experience to help and fill in where necessary. My goal each day is for our customers to be serviced, and my employees to return home safe. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my daughters and wife on our farm. Geaux Tigers!
